Calvin

Your nose is a black velvet

triangle, that complements

Those green eyes, you pretend

To be a Cat, but I know

You are very wise.

Taking a rest, I guess,

From being human,

Now wearing

A simple disguise.

No responsibility for you.

Except you have your ties.

We humans serve you tuna,

And cater to your needs.

Some meows exceed!!!

We love your fur tuxedo,

The white harlequin tie,

It was love at first sight-

brought me to my knees.

Calvin the Protestant cat,

you rescued me.
