Why I ‘Hate’ Amazon and Stopped Shopping Online
I am not happy with Amazon Prime: I have a subscription but the movies started dropping or being interrupted. I called customer service( believe it or not it is possible) and they told me I needed to purchase a “firestick” to support my Amazon Prime subscription that I already paid for and in order to watch videos that I own.
In very measured voice and no uncertain terms I told them they needed to refund me per diem for the days I am deprived of my subscription. They did.
I then canceled the two channels I subscribe through them and now the movies are streaming just fine. If I want that TV to work, and not buy a new “smart TV” all the accompanying surveillance devices installed or a “firestick” from Amazon with the $25 coupon they are giving me to extort $39.99- think of the scale of this scam. What?
Whenever I see an Amazon truck I have the impulse to throw something at it. Jeff Bezos appears to be the epitome of greed.. He pays his employees lousy wages- he pays no taxes and monopolizes everything he gets his hands on. Then as all lowlifes do he cheated on his wife and traded her in for a new model.
How did we let such a major portion of our economy to become monopolized by Jeff Bezos? Or Mark Zuckerburg? They aren’t exactly charismatic, or physically attractive. These are two guys…
